Dr. Robert (Bob) London is President of SciconHealth, a boutique consulting firm which provides services to corporations focused on healthcare technology, biomedical, pharma, and population health programs. Clients include Hologic, Nirvana Health, BetterNight, Averhealth and Semler Scientific. He has been a President, Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in both private and public rapidly growing companies and has deep expertise in payer operations, pharmacy, managing MLR, biomedical research, healthcare technology, and medical informatics. Dr. London is a national thought leader in leveraging technology to improve quality and reduce medical costs from the Payer perspective. From 2014 thru 2021, he was the Chief Medical Officer for WellCare’s South Carolina Health Plans. In that role his span of control included overseeing the medical services and quality results for WellCare Medicaid and Medicare plans in the state: including medical leadership for the effective care integration of pharmacy operations, utilization/case/disease management activities and quality improvement. He reported to WellCare’s state leader for South Carolina. In addition to his market role, Dr. London led a number of corporate projects involving informatics, artificial intelligence, Obstetrics/NICU and IT related RFP’s.
Prior to WellCare, London was the national medical director for Walgreens and led the clinical solutions group in the health and wellness business segment. Preceding to that, he served as the general manager of ikaSystems, a leader in enterprise software for the payer sector. He has also served as the chief development officer for D2Hawkeye, a provider of medical data reporting and analytics solutions, and chief clinical officer for TriZetto, a health care information technology company. Earlier in his career, London led health care management for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield’s (WellPoint) Western region. He has also served as corporate chief medical officer at CNA Insurance Company, chief operating officer for United Healthcare’s mid-Atlantic region, and chief medical officer at NYLCare Health Plans. Dr. London did his executive training while at Kaiser Permanente’s Mid-Atlantic Region and was the lead of Maternal-Child Care for the Mid-Atlantic Market. London has served on the faculty of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, the University of Colorado MBA program, and the South Carolina School of Medicine. He holds degrees from George Washington University and University of Maryland School of Medicine, is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Gina Papush is the Global Chief Data and Analytics Officer for Evernorth, a subsidiary of Cigna Corporation. She is responsible for driving data & analytic vision, strategic priorities and objectives across the enterprise. Gina and her team leverage data and advanced analytics to deliver actionable intelligence that enables stakeholder value, innovates for better health care quality and affordability, improves precision, and optimizes financial performance. Gina has delivered significant business impact over her 25+ year career through proven leadership and expertise in analytic innovation and data-driven strategies. She has successfully built leading advanced analytics, decision science, and information management capabilities across diverse industries and business models.
Prior to joining Cigna/Evernorth, Gina served as the Global Chief Data & Analytics Officer at QBE Insurance Group and held leadership positions in data and analytics within the financial services and consulting industries, including Citigroup, GE Capital and Fulcrum Analytics. Her experience includes leading analytics, data science, data/information management, customer engagement, risk management, strategic business planning, and market research for retail and digital banking, consumer lending and credit, property and casualty insurance, health care, pharma, traditional and digital retail, manufacturing and entertainment industries. In addition to her corporate responsibilities, Gina is active in advising data analytics and AI companies as well as contributing to the professional community through speaking engagements. She currently sits on the board of Honeysuckle Health and serves on the Advisory Council for Women Business Collaborative. Gina holds an M.S. in Statistics from the University of Maryland, where she also completed her Ph.D. qualifications.
Kim is the new Chief Operating Officer of Humana Healthy Horizons that just launched in July 2021 in the South Carolina Medicaid Market. Kim is an experienced leader in the behavioral health and managed care payer field. She spent the first 17 years of her professional career working in non-profit organizations where she developed, implemented and monitored oversight of new clinical programs. Kim is extremely passionate about serving the most vulnerable populations and providing holistic, integrated healthcare to everyone.
Kim’s clinical background has been instrumental in helping her understand the global view of health plan operations. Kim has excellent leadership and interpersonal skills and experience consulting with all levels of contacts to develop successful strategies to produce positive business outcomes. Kim is recognized for her exceptional team management and she breaks down silos amongst teams to build strategic relationships that produce results. Kim’s motto is “Teamwork makes the dream work.” In her most recent role as Sr. Director, Behavioral Health Operations at WellCare, she successfully implemented 5 new behavioral health carve-ins, demonstrated an established record of successful innovation which enhanced the organization’s bottom line and was the key leader and advocate for true clinical integration both internally and externally. A native of Columbia, South Carolina, Kim is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Master’s degree in Social Work. Kim is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. Kim is a baseball mom and a dance mom and she loves spending time with her family and going to the beach. Kim is excited and energized to join the Alethea.ai strategic advisory board.
Jesus Leal is a Pharmaceutical Industry Executive with 38 years of varied experiences in both Medical and Commercial roles. Most recently Jesus is at SUN Pharma, helping them launch a new Biologic for the treatment of moderate/severe Plaque Psoriasis. Prior to SUN, Jesus spent 10 years at Novartis. At Novartis, Jesus managed $2B of sales in the Respiratory Division. Previously he was Vice President and Head of the US General Medicines Early Development, Strategy, BD&L where he was responsible for the development of overall strategy and value optimization for new products and BD&L assets. While at Novartis, Jesus also gained experience in Health Economics Outcomes Research as he led the HEOR Team for 2 years.
Jesus has experience in multiple therapeutic areas including Critical Care, Oncology, CV, Respiratory, Infectious Diseases, Dermatology and Transplant. Before Novartis, Jesus was the President of IVAX Labs (now Teva) and held multiple positions at Roche and Schering Plough. Jesus holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers College of Pharmacy and a Master of Business Administration from Nova University.

As a hands-on leader, Padma works smart, communicates well, and makes tough decisions. She balances proven business savvy and general management skills with forward-looking strategic vision. In her most recent role as CHRO at Takeda Pharmaceutical Company – a $30BN+ global Fortune 500 company with over 50K+ employees in 85 countries – she led the business to achieve a Global Top Employer certification for 3 years in a row, while orchestrating the integration of the largest acquisition in the pharmaceutical industry. She transformed the entire global organization to deliver on the new strategy and refreshed corporate philosophy and purpose. She also architected a new HR operating model, people vision, and people platform and programs. She recreated board and executive compensation programs to meet shareholder expectations; and leading award-winning DEI initiatives in several countries around the world. Additionally in this role, Padma demonstrated board leadership through her involvement with the Compensation Committee where she was instrumental in drafting the Compensation Committee Charter. She worked with the CFO to onboard new committee members and managed governance in Japan and the United States. With change in listings, Padma worked with various committees and the Board on disclosure, Board and exec compensation, Board recruitment and succession matters to name a few.
Previously as Chief People Officer for The Lego Company – recognized as the planet’s most powerful brand, Padma embraced the Board’s charge to create a strategic pivot that would allow the company to address new market dynamics and revitalize the revenue stream. She drove organizational capability building, onboarded new executives, and led a company-wide shift to workforce agility. Prior to joining Lego, Padma provided strong leadership as CHRO and CVP, Strategic Initiatives and Operational Excellence for Integra Life Sciences where she partnered with the Board of Directors to complete a CEO assessment and succession plan. Working closely with the new CEO, she built the transformation strategy and delivered on it to positively impacted corporate growth. In alignment she structured a talent game plan, aligned corporate and employee performance management including corporate compensation strategy and execution compensation plans, which increased shareholder voting to 98.5% in 3 years. Padma previously held full responsibility for both P&L and clinical development as VP, Asia Pacific and Canada for Pfizer’s oncology business unit. As VP, Business Integration, she led integration activities globally for Pfizer Oncology – acquisition of Wyeth. In her first role with Pfizer as VP, Human Resources, Padma advised senior business leaders on overall HR strategies while partnering with the President and GM of Pfizer Oncology to create and operationalize the new business unit. Earlier in her career, Padma served as SVP, Human Resources Executive in 2 different business groups at Bank of America where she led business and people initiatives to expand the company’s global footprint. As EVP, Human Resources at Loral Skynet – Loral Space and Communications in New York City, Padma led the global HR function as well as integration activities to reposition the company’s portfolio from product centricity to a solution focus. With strong business acumen, a deep grasp of strategy, and P&L experience, Padma brings hard-won wisdom required to align strategy and execution, business and people. Her integral roles in building platforms for organic growth, expansion through global M&A, and improvements in market share and profit margin demonstrate her expertise in positively impacting corporate success in markets around the world. Padma completed her Master’s degree coursework at the University of Madras and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Osmania University, both in India. She regularly presents on topics that are relevant for today’s global marketplace, such as creating stability in uncertainty and building resilient companies, and was the keynote speaker for NARHES21 Virtual Summit. Padma moved back to the US after living in Tokyo with her husband, Ravi for three years.
Dr. Qasim Butt is a highly skilled and well rounded physician. He has had a long 11 year career of both clinical nephrology and interventional nephrology able to handle all issues related to dialysis access (fistulas, graft, catheters, etc.). He has recently completed the MIT course in Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare and currently has several advisory roles in medical technology and digital health start ups. His involvement in start ups has sparked an interest in health care innovation.
Dr. Butt has gone above and beyond his clinical responsibilities, as a physician leader serving the community. He has had numerous leadership roles, including previous Chief of Medicine of Metropolitan Methodist Hospital and previous Treasurer of Board at the Texas Kidney Foundation. Very importantly, he is highly versed in value based medicine in kidney care and has presented about Medicare's new Kidney Care models at two separate conferences hosted by UT Health San Antonio.
Pooja Ika is the founder and CEO of eternalHealth. At the age of 24, she is the youngest woman to launch a new Medicare Advantage Health Plan in the United States. A 2019 Babson College graduate, Pooja founded eternalHealth to deliver high quality, affordable care to her fellow Massachusetts residents. Committed to doing things the right way, eternalHealth was built on trust, transparency, and integrity. Pooja has been working tirelessly to be make healthcare accessible for all, while also acting as an advocate and educator for her members. Driven to make eternalHealth a catalyst for change in the health insurance industry, Pooja is not scared to tackle what some might call impossible. Ika states, “Nothing is impossible, with the right team and the right thought process, anything is possible.
